Rubén Urbina has done great things for the Latinx community in Holyoke. Urbina has been active in the Holyoke community for over 50 years, helping to create the Spanish American softball league in 1970 and the Spanish American Club in 1971. Even today, at over 80 years old, he continues mentor young athletes and play softball and volleyball in senior leagues.
Rubén Urbina ha hecho cosas grandiosas por la comunidad latina de Holyoke. Urbina ha sido un miembro activo de Holyoke por más de 50 años, ayudando crear una liga de sóftbol española americana en 1970 y un club española americana en 1971. Hasta hoy, teniendo más de 80 años continúa enseñando atletas jóvenes y jugando softbol y voleibol en ligas para mayores.
